⊱ BareRose 24 Hour Release Marathon For Japan Relief Effort⊰ (Part 2)
BareRose Tokyo24 Hour Release Marathon is simple event ❥
We will create outfits or items for 24 hours continuously, and then release them throughout the event.
Outfits and items will be simple items, but we will try to keep the quality high as always for Barerose Items :)
ღ❤ღ All items will be for sale though Japan Relief Fundraiser vendors, and all money raised will go to the Americares Japan relief charity. ღ❤ღ
Since all of the items are simple and fun , they are going to be alot more inexpensive than the regular release items ( you can donate any amount you like, but minimum amount on each item is suggested)
All of the vendors will remain untill the end of the charity group.

Thema Prefecture: Aomori
Nebuta is an electric parade like festival.
It started out with just candle lamp before 300 years, but it has grown bigger and bigger as time has gone by now.
Now its become very huge japanese style doll festival with lighting.

Thema Prefecture: Gunma
There is legend in Gunma, there was monster racoon that can transform to any object.
A poor man saved him, and to repay the poor man the racoon suggested that he would transform himself into a pot and for him to sell the pot so that the man could make some money.
But then his body cant change back into racoon and then he suggest he will show some tricks to get money and the poor guy become rich...

Thema Prefecture: Tochigi
There was nine tail fox monster, called The White Face.
After a fight with high preist, the fox's body was broken and flew all over japan searching for the Sessho-seki (or Killing Stone).
It is said that the stone kills anyone who comes into contact with it as it contains the spirit of the Nine tail Fox.
It is also said the Priest convinced the Fox to eventually stop haunting the stone.

Thema Prefecture: Ibaragi
Itako in Ibaragi, beautiful city in Japan that has an area full of iris flowers you can see there.
And there is beautiful section lined with Iris flowers along the river where brides can go in small boats. It is one of beautiful scenes in Japan.

Thema Prefecture: Yamagata
Yamagata is best Prefecture for Cherry, especialy, Sato-Nishiki Cherry. Its very sweet. One of best fruits in Japan.
Byakko Tai
Thema Prefecture: Fukushima
Byakko is White Tiger, One of last Samurai Force during the Boshin war.
These Samurai were yaoung, like age 13 to 17 .
There is story is brave and sad as they were to protect the Aizu Catsle and their family.
ChaguChagu Umakko
Thema Prefecture: Iwate
ChaguChagu Umakko is Parade of horses. Very colorful decoration on over 100 horses and they ride in the parade the whole way.
The Horses wear bells and metal fittings. When they walk, it sounds very musical .
Fukinagashi Dancer
Thema Prefecture: Miyagi
In Miyagi, Sendai City, there is very big festival called Tanabata, from 1618. Tanabata Festival is happen all around Japan , but Most beautiful one with Huge Fukinagasi(Streamer) as ornament of festival all around the city.

At end of the year, people wear ogre outfits and vist each home.
The Ogre will ask the family if there is bad boy, or bad wife, then they try to scare them to be good.
Also they are sipposed to scare and away evil spirits from the home.

she covers an old Japanese song that was in her heart seeing the events in Japan.
She says in her description.. (This is my cover of Kyu Sakamoto's "Ue o Muite Aruko." I was inspired to sing this because of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan... Many of my relatives are still missing, and my heart goes out to them and to all those who died or are suffering through this ordeal. I've always thought this was a beautiful song... it's about keeping a smile on your face and hope in your heart even though times are really tough).

Barerose Tokyo Pacific Crisis donations
As Im sure you all know Japan was hit by the worst Earthquake and Tsunami of modern times.
There is a relief effort started to help raise funds to help the victims of this tradgedy (Pacific Crisis Fundraiser).
This hits very close to home for June (She lives in Tokyo) as well as some of our staff that live in other parts of Japan and we have many friends and customers that live there as well.
June has graciously decided to donate 3 items to the effort (100% of money from these items will go to the cause)
These items can be purchaced @ Barerose Tokyo in the front of the store, as well as the Pacific Crisis Fundraiser which will open march 16th.
Thanks to all that have shown concern for the people of Japan and your prayers and thoughts. ツ

Barerose Tokyo @ Fashion for Life preview
Today has been very bitter sweet for us @ Barerose Tokyo, we are very happy to participate in the Fashion for life clothing fair and at the same time saddened by the Earthquake/Tsunami in Japan.
June lives in Tokyo and several of our staff also live in Japan, Thank goodness they are all ok.
Our hopes and prayers go out to all the victims of the tragedy today.
(Please take a minute to send your prayers to the victims in Japan)
As I said we are very happy to participate in fashion for life, such a great cause !
